There is great need in Canada but it is not always visible. Today, one in five Canadians experiences an addiction or mental health illness. AdvanceLIFE Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that partners with addiction recovery centers, businesses, community members, and agencies committed to advancing the lives of individuals and families struggling with the affects of substance use disorders and related psychological illness. What makes AdvanceLIFE Foundation unique from other recovery programs is that we work at the grassroots level to assist and support clients into recovery programs through sponsorship, and to provide the necessary support for individuals to maintain their sobriety through unlimited aftercare. Using our 3-R approach to wellness—Respond, Recover, and Reclaim—we are dedicated to responding to those who are suffering from addictions and mental health issues, including the entire family unit. 

For many, the struggle for sobriety is in isolation without the knowledge or the financial means to access high-quality and first-class treatment centres, safe transitional facilities, and the continuing long-term care measures that are so desperately needed. Addictions do not have to be the end of the story. It is AdvanceLIFE Foundation’s aim to continue supporting our clients and their families after the completion of residential or intensive outpatient care with a tailored aftercare treatment plan designed to meet the goals and progress of each client.
